Your Role:

The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for oversight of Volunteer and Bereavement support services for Hospice individuals and families. The position carries the responsibilities for designating orientation, training, support and coordination of hospice volunteer program administration and development in all service areas, as well as supervising coordination of the bereavement support program.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

    1. Education: 4-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
    2. License/CertificationMust have a valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance. 
    3. Experience: Previous supervisory and leadership experience required
    4. Competent with Computer Skills
    5. Mature individual, supportive of the hospice concept.
    6. Successful completion of the hospice's volunteer training and orientation program.
    7. Previous volunteer experience helpful.
    8. Ability to work within an interdisciplinary group.
